I just found out about this 1.6.1 project an hour ago and I'm so looking forward to an future release of this.
Just seeing the list of games that have been fixed is amazing.

I will keep an eye out on this closely.

Hi Black Zero, thank you for your kind words and i for one am very pleased to see a long standing pj64 user appreciate what we are trying to achieve Smile

I have read all your posts and glad you feel that way about this Project.

Sadly at the moment we are not in a state of releasing anything remotely stable even for the 'behind closed doors' beta stages. but as soon as we are believe me you will be one of the first to know.

In the meantime however, our old friend Icepir8 is doing some amazing work on his TR64 OGL plugin and is asking members to help beta test/bug report for him and i think you would be ideal for this being a long standing user or PJ and indeed the emulation scene.

You can find out more about it at his

Post and if you sign up and decide to introduce yourself and start to Bug Test.. It would be a pleasure working along side you.

All The Best

Thank you Gent, it's an honor to be here.

I don't know if it's sad or super positive, but in all these years I have spent more time playing my games on Project 64 then I have on the real console which is a lot of hours.
The only real memories I have left is of course from Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Golden Eye multiplayer goodness with my best friend and Perfect Dark. The real console and games is lying on the shelf as a reminder of the golden days from my childhood and early teen years.

As of today Project 64 1.6 along with all the nice updates from Jabo and the Glide64 plugin is working perfect.
Heck I still remember 2005 when I downloaded the 1.6 release, that's almost 7 years and it still is the top of the line in my book for N64 emulation.

They say patience is a virtue, and I have a lot of patience just look at *cough* Duke Nukem Forever *cough*  Smile
I'll gladly wait for the 1.6.1 release and just looking at the progress so far is really promising.
